How do I run AutoCAD 2010 with the classic User Interface?

AutoCAD 2010 continues it’s User Interface (UI) revolution since AutoCAD 2009. Many old users were uncomfortable about this dramatic new UI, and new users are to accept with pleasure with this new appearance. Is there a way for AutoCAD to look (or feel) like the older version of AutoCAD with new AutoCAD 2010′s new features? The answer is absolutely positive. Since release of AutoCAD 2006, users can begin to define their user interfaces which toolbars, menus, and palettes, command window, locate or appear at exactly according to user’s specification. Workspaces are a great concept, because users can save multiple workspaces to reduce the time that users need to create comfortable working environments. AutoCAD is installed with default workspaces, and you have the ability to create your own workspace as well. The default workspaces are 3D Modeling, 2D Drafting & Annotation, and AutoCAD Classic.

Four ways to change your current UI to AutoCAD classic:

1) Go to your Pull-Down Menu> Tools > Workspaces >AutoCAD Classic.

2) On the Workspace Switching status bar (locate at lower right hand side), click Workspace > Switching > AutoCAD Classic.

3) Enter WSCURRENT command, and then enter “AutoCAD Classic” when prompted to specify a workspace. With this method, you have to enter exactly “AutoCAD Classic” as your worksapce. This method won’t work, if you don’t know the exact name for your workspaces.

4) Enter CUI command, and a Customize User Interface widow will pop up. Right mouse click under ACAD>(you need to unfold to see all the available workspaces) AutoCAD Classic>Set Current, and don’t forget to click APPLY. A visually more complex way to get to your AutoCAD Classic UI.

Auto Glass Repair verses Windshield Replacement

You smash your windshield completely in an accident – cost of replacement, $500.00. Your windshield suffers a minor rock chip, which soon develops into a major crack – cost of windshield replacement, $500.00 again. So irrespective of the reason behind windshield replacement, the cost remains the same. But, what if you could actually utilize an auto glass repair technique, which will save you this cost? So, you need not opt for windshield replacement unless you actually have shattered your glass completely.

Auto glass repair offered from Dings Plus Windshield Chip Repair is definitely a much better option than windshield replacement, especially when one is looking at only minor chip(s) on the windshield. The advantages of auto glass repair over windshield replacement are several and it is these benefits that make auto glass repair such a favored option.

Cost effective – Our auto glass repair will cost you $ 60 for the first repair while each additional auto glass repair on the same windshield costs $30. This is a tremendous saving as compared to changing the windshield completely, which is a very high cost and does not come with any guarantees. So auto glass repair is a much more affordable option.

Time savings – Since we are happy to come to your doorstep with our auto glass repair technique, you will not need to waste your time in running to an windshield replacement shop and leaving your car there for a couple days for the windshield replacement. Our auto glass repair thus saves you time too.

Original windshield – When you opt for the auto glass repair option you have the advantage of retaining the original factory windshield seal on your vehicle, which translates to no air or water leaks.

Eco friendly – Windshield chip repair is the environmentally-friendly choice. Since windshields cannot be recycled, replacing them is not an ecologically viable option. On the other hand auto glass repair saves our nation’s landfills, prevents the replacement of the windshield, and therefore is highly advantageous.

Extras – Auto glass repair allows you several advantages like optical clarity, prevention of wear and tear of wipers, added strength to the windshield and therefore increased safety. Many times,    despite opting for a windshield replacement, consumers find that due to shoddy workmanship, they either develop cracks on the windshield or suffer water leaks and other such problems. However all this can be easily avoided when choosing to repair your windshield rather than replacing it.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is not only common among humans but also among animals particularly cats. Basically, the IBS that is experienced by people is the same type that cats also feel.

The Irritable Bowel Syndrome among cats is the same gastrointestinal disorder that is also felt by human. The large and/or small intestines are also affected. IBS in cats usually affects the contractions of the digestive tract resulting to irregular bowel movement. Aside from that, IBS also interferes with the normal distribution of food and waste material inside the cat’s body resulting to the accumulation of toxins and mucus in the cat’s intestines.

These accumulated toxins often obstruct the normal function of the digestive tract. In the process gas and stool are trapped causing bloating, constipation and distention. It is also surprising to note that the same IBS factors in human have been identified to cause the same effects among cats. Factors causing IBS such as stress, overuse of antibiotics, poor eating habits, bacterial, and viral infection, parasites and food allergies were found to affect cats as well.

Likewise, a blockage is also very common among cats since they love to chew as well as swallow objects. This too can trigger IBS symptoms.

Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome in Cats

It would be surprising to note that cats and humans exhibit the same Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms. And here are some of them:

- Constipation among cats is just like in humans. It is also exhibited by hard, small, pebble-like stools, which make bowel movement very difficult.

- Diarrhea is a more frequent bowel movement wherein the stool is often soft and watery. Cats with IBS usually experience successive loose bowel movement alternating with constipation.

- Abdominal pain is also common among cats with IBS. The pain can range from mild to severe.

- The presence of mucus in the stool is also a common sign of IBS.

- Another symptom of IBS that may be observed in cats is vomiting and nausea.

- Gas pain or flatulence is also an indication of IBS in cats

- Bloating

- Intolerance to certain types of foods

- Anorexia which most of you may think is only common to us human but surprisingly is also exhibited by our feline friends.

Treating Your Cat’s Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Since Irritable Bowel Syndrome involves many factors, it is very important that you have your cats examined by a veterinarian. This way you will know what’s triggering IBS symptoms in your pet cats. In case you prefer to apply natural methods in controlling your pet’s IBS symptoms still it is better to consult first a veterinarian before applying any type of IBS treatment to your cat to avoid further complications.

A change in your cat’s diet is also a good way to control Irritable Bowel syndrome. However make sure that you consult a veterinarian or a nutritionist to provide your cat with a personalized diet and program.

Feeding your cat with the right type of food is still the best way to control your cat’s Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Cats like humans prefer different types of foods. There are some cats that like eating raw food while there are some that prefers home cooking or canned food.

It is very important that you try to experiment with foods that work for your cat. If you can keep a food journal in which you can jot down foods that your cat needs to avoid then so much the better. This will guide you on the proper food to give your cat and in turn keeps IBS symptoms in control.

Anyone who has ever been in an accident or been on the receiving end of a ding on the plastic bumper knows that they can be one of the most difficult parts to repair using over-the-counter auto body repair kits or do-it-yourself techniques.

At first, it seems easy enough. A filler is used to patch any cracks or holes, and you simply allow it to dry, sand it to the right finish, and paint with a carefully-selected matching store-bought paint. Unfortunately, it is rarely this easy. When done professionally, the techniques used in plastic bumper repair are actually a little more detailed – and a lot more focused on creating near-perfect results.

The Real Costs of Plastic Bumper Repair

Most car owners turn to do-it-yourself repair for plastic bumpers because they are hesitant to turn to professional help at traditional body repair shops. It’s no small wonder. Most traditional repair shops have a reputation for creating great results at sky-high costs. In many of these types of facilities, bumper repair can cost upwards of $800, which is higher than many insurance deductibles.

In addition to the typical problems with over-the-counter auto body repair kits for plastic bumper repair – including incorrectly applied filler, unmatched paint, and other results that look worse than the dent or scratch itself – it can actually be more expensive to fix a bungled repair job than it would have been to go to one of the expensive body shops in the first place.

The Mobile Bumper Repair Solution

Fortunately, there is an option that falls between these two extremes. Mobile bumper repair specialists, a growing trend in the automotive repair industry, offer quick and professional results at a fraction of the cost of traditional body shops. You get the same finish that comes with the more expensive solution, but with a price tag closer to the higher-end do-it-yourself kits.

Many of these types of facilities are mobile and offer quality guarantees, as well. This means that in addition to getting a professional result that maintains your car’s value, you don’t have to worry about long waits at the repair shop or the need for a rental car – two more reasons many people turn to self-repairs.

We all know that saving money is important in today’s economy. Before you go out and buy an over-the-counter auto body repair kit that may offer only a temporary or sub-par solution, it’s best to remember that you can get professional plastic bumper repair at a fraction of the traditional cost.
